Pattern Lab is an educational reasoning-practice prototype for adults. It does not require an account, and it is not a professional IQ assessment.
What we save on your device
We use browser local storage to remember your current or most recent challenge: question IDs, selected answers, elapsed time, completion state, and the date of a daily challenge. These answers are not sent to our event endpoint. Use “Clear saved progress” in the footer to delete the saved challenge.
What the website sends
The website sends a limited set of product events to its own hosting endpoint: a page, collection or preview visit; challenge start, completion or share; number-practice visit or completion; sample download; and clicks to the itch.io checkout. The event payload contains the event name, English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese or French page language, and full/daily/number-practice mode. Number-practice completion means each of the six exercises was checked at least once; it does not record whether answers were correct. Those six practice answers are held only in the open page and are not saved after reloading. It does not contain your answers, score, contact details, or a visitor identifier. A checkout click records a navigation event only; it does not create an order or charge money.
Hosting and logs
Requests are processed by Vercel when this site is deployed there. Hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, browser request headers, timestamps and security logs as part of delivering and protecting the service. Product events are written to hosting logs, whose retention depends on the hosting plan and settings. They are not a permanent database or verified count of unique people. Data may be processed outside your country. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Optional sharing and printing
Sharing runs only when you press the share button. It uses your device's share menu or clipboard and includes your correct-answer count and the public challenge link. Your detailed answers remain in your browser. Printing the practice preview or number worksheet uses your browser's print dialog.
Optional purchases on itch.io
The printable collection is sold and delivered on itch.io. A purchase link opens the product page on that service, where checkout, payment, receipts, downloads, support and applicable transaction terms are handled. Payment details are not sent to Pattern Lab. Review itch.io’s privacy policy before buying. This website has no advertising network, email marketing list, account registration or remote AI scoring service, and does not sell personal data.
Questions and data requests
Because there is no account or contact-data collection in this version, we cannot identify a particular visitor from an event payload. You can delete saved answers on your device. For purchase or download problems, use the support options on your itch.io receipt and the product page.
